Attach to straight or curved surfaces for smooth installation
If you love your car but want to add just a little bit of old-fashioned, high-speed flair, you don't have to break the bank to get it. With TYPE S racing stitch accent strip, you can add a dash of high-octane style to any interior car surface. Easy to use and easy to install, the TYPE S racing stitch accent strip turns any car into a racer.
Short answer: for the most part, yes! Longer answer: yes, you can attach the TYPE S rtacing stitch accent strip to any ‘flat’ surface in your car. If there's too much texture, the high-quality adhesive may not be able to get a good grip. As a result, you'll find yourself trying to stick the strip back in place over and over again. As long as your surface is mostly flat, however, you should be good to use the accent strip.
The accent comes in a long coil, so just measure out the amount you need and trim it to fit. Once applied, it will last a good long time.
This decoration comes with easy installation for racing stitch accent strips. With 6 feet of water-resistant faux leather material, you should have plenty of accent strip to cover whatever you need. To cover your dash board, it may be easiest to measure the length of your dashboard before attempting to cut the strip. Leave a little bit of extra material on either side to cover for any inconsistencies.
Peel away the backing and press the strip firmly into place. After about 10 seconds of holding the strip in its new position, the adhesive should be set. Repeat the process along the length of your gear shift knob, making sure to smooth out any wrinkles in the strip. Once that's done, you're ready for the road.
