Will this camera work with my truck?
This camera will work with trucks, however, some pickup trucks might require a special installation method to fit above the rear bumper. Please refer to the Instruction Manual.
Does the camera come pre paired to the monitor?
This model is connected with mobile device. Please install Type S Drive App and follow pairing instruction written in user manual.
Will this camera work with my trailer?
This camera may work with a trailer; however, it depends on what you are hauling: ATV / UTVs, a boat, tractor, etc. There could be interference if the haul is large or dense. The wireless Flex Mount Backup Camera with 5” Monitor may be a better option of you are hauling cargo on a regular basis because it will be wired in to stable power source.
How long does the camera take to charge?
It should take about 5-6 hours to fully charge the camera using a USB cable.

What is default password for backup cam WiFi connection and how to reset the password from the App?
The default password is "0000". You can reset your password to default password with the instructions as follow:
(1) While the Backup Camera is on, press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds and then release. Blue LED light should flashes 5 times.
(2) Or you can reset default from App setting page when backup camera is connected.
What is battery capacity and how long does camera take to charge? Do I need to charge the camera before installing it?
The camera comes with a 2,500 mAh rechargeable battery, please fully charge your camera for 4~6 hours using the USB cable included in package. After installation, the camera can be charged by solar panel based on 2 hours of full sunlight exposure with 10 triggers consumption per day.
Do I need to charge my Backup Camera before use?
We recommend to fully charge the Backup Camera for first time. Our packaging come with a microUSB cable for charging by USB adaptor.
After installation, the Backup camera can be charged with Solar panel. Make sure your car is not parked at your garage or shaded location. Try to have 2 - 4 hours of good sunlight to recharge the camera each day.
