Our long term commitment to the series includes our integration as the Official Dash Cam, Vehicle Lighting and Jump Starter for the Formula DRIFT series. All drivers in the series utilize the TYPE S / Formula Drift PRO Series LED light system and top 16 vehicles are equipped with TYPE S 4K Dash Cameras to capture all of the action. Taking the experience to another level, at all night events the track is lit with blue TYPE S LEDs to create a unique atmosphere for drivers and fans.
Professional Fun-Haver, Vaughn Gittin Jr., is the President of RTR Vehicles and RTR Motorsports, which includes being a two-time Formula Drift Champion in 2010 and 2020, respectively. Gittin Jr. has been competing since 2004 at the highest level of drifting while also creating some of the most memorable automotive builds in recent memory such as the Hoonicorn RTR, the RTR-X and the all-new electric Mustang Mach-E 1400 with his RTR Vehicles team. Always looking for the next way to promote his style and flair, TYPE S was an obvious choice to implement into his competition cars and also Mustang RTR’s signature styling by having functionality, build quality and the perfect amount of fun at any time!
With some of drifting’s most dramatic style and aggression, Chelsea DeNofa is poised to become a future Formula Drift champion. Chelsea has raced everything from Spec Miata to Trophy Trucks and often is behind the wheel of one of his school cars at The School of Drift, teaching drifting to the future drivers of the sport and how to have fun behind the wheel. “Along with his experience, Chelsea brings authenticity and his young fan base to TYPE S products.”
Larry Chen, whose work has graced the covers of automotive magazines worldwide, has built an empire in automotive photography and content by transcending the act of taking photos, taking his vision to brands like Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Monster, and Canon. As a true automotive enthusiast that even recently introduced his own “Garage,” Larry is able to take the art of capturing content to the next level as he understands how to create emotional connections between visuals and the observer.
