This Returns & Limited Warranty Policy outlines the return process, limited warranty terms, and post-purchase guidelines for TYPE S Products. By purchasing any TYPE S Product, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Note: This policy applies only to TYPE S Products purchased directly from www.typesauto.com. If you purchased your TYPE S Product from a third-party retailer (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, AutoZone), please follow that retailer’s return policy. However, warranty claims for defective products apply to all purchases, including those from authorized retailers.


1. Product Warnings

Before using your TYPE S Product, carefully review all product warnings and instructions provided in the manual. Failure to follow these warnings may void your Limited Warranty.


2. Limited Warranty

TYPE S provides a limited warranty on its products, subject to the terms below.

What’s Covered?

  • Manufacturing defects and failures under normal use.

What’s Not Covered?

  • Third-party products (warranties for third-party accessories must be handled with their respective manufacturers).
  • Damage caused by:
    • Improper handling, accidents, or negligence.
    • Unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or tampering.
    • Incorrect installation or inadequate maintenance.
    • Normal wear and tear or consumable parts (e.g., batteries).

Important Notes:

  • This Limited Warranty only applies to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
  • Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.
  • TYPE S is not responsible for damage caused by accessories or attachments not provided by TYPE S.

2.2 How to Make a Warranty Claim

1. Gather Required Information

  • A valid proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
  • The original product packaging (recommended).

3. Follow Return Instructions

  • If eligible, TYPE S will provide a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and a prepaid shipping label (for customers in the continental U.S.).
  • Ship your product in its original packaging or secure packaging to prevent damage in transit.
  • TYPE S is not responsible for damage caused during return shipping if packaging is inadequate.

4. Warranty Resolution

  • TYPE S will repair or replace the defective product free of charge.
  • If an exact replacement is unavailable, TYPE S may offer a similar product or store credit for the original purchase price.

Note: Customers outside the continental U.S. are responsible for return shipping costs.


3. Returns Policy

If you are not satisfied with your TYPE S Product purchased directly from www.typesauto.com, you may return it within 60 days of receipt for a refund, subject to the following conditions:

3.1 How to Return a Product

  1. Submit a return request via our online portal or contact info@typesauto.com to receive an RMA number.
  2. Repack your product securely in its original packaging (highly recommended).
  3. Ship your product back using the provided prepaid return label.
  4. Once received, TYPE S will inspect the product and, if eligible, issue a refund.

Refund Processing:

  • Refunds may take up to 10 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
  • Shipping fees from the original purchase are non-refundable.

3.2 Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns if:

  • The product is damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging.
  • The return does not include all original accessories.
  • The product is no longer in like-new condition.
  • The return does not include proof of purchase.
  • The product was damaged due to misuse, accidents, or modifications.
