The engine dies shortly after it was jump started or as soon as the jump starter is disconnected.

The vehicle charging system may not be working (bad alternator, voltage regulator, wiring problem or loose/dirty battery cables). Please seek a mechanic for help. The jump start may also not work correctly for vehicles that require remote battery jumper locations (i.e. battery located in the trunk or other location).

How often should I recharge the Jump Starter?

We recommend checking the battery level once every two to three months if you have not been using the device. If the LED indicator lights show three solid lights or less, it's time to recharge the device. Press the power button to check the battery status on the LCD screen. If the LCD screen does not light up, the jump starter needs to be recharged.

How long does it take to recharge the Jump Starter?

The Jump Starter will take approximately 4-5 hours for a full charge.

Can I travel on a plane with this Jump Starter & Power Bank?

As of March 2017, you may take this model with you on flights either in your carry-on luggage or checked bagged as long as the lithium-ion battery is less than 100 watt-hours. Check the U.S. Department of Transportation to see if the regulations have changed to ensure you are in compliance.
