Yes, the dash cam comes with a 16GB MicroSD Card. It can support a MicroSD Card up to 128GB.
Does the dash cam come with a built-in GPS function?
Yes, The GPS location data would be saved during the video recording, you can view the GPS location in the video while using the TYPE S Drive App on your phone.

How does dash cam work on 24-hour surveillance park & record mode?
For the “Park & Record Mode” to be enable, the user must hardwire the 360° Dash Cam into the vehicle’s fuse panel using the hardwire cable provided.
Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual/handbook, identify a place in your vehicle that has a constant power source and connect the DC 12V hardwire cable to it. Connect the BLACK cable to the negative (-) terminal, and then connect the RED cable to the positive (+) terminal.
How does the dash cam get powered?
You can connect the Dash Cam to a 12V power source from the vehicle’s car charger plug with the cable provided in the packaging.
Hardwire the dash cam with the hardwire cable provided directly to the vehicle’s fuse panel.
I cannot connect to my dash cam in the TYPE S Drive App.
- Please check your dash cam’s Wi-Fi function is enabled. Enter Wi-Fi setting page in the dash cam to make sure it is enabled. Find the Wi-Fi signal icon on the upper right side of the screen monitor.
- Please check TYPE S Drive App is connected to the dash cam using the correct Wi-Fi password. You can find the password in the dash cam Wi-Fi Setting menu.
May I change the Wi-Fi password to avoid other people connecting to my dash cam?
Yes, access the TYPE S Drive App on your phone, connect to the 360° Dash Cam, select on the Gear icon to access the Main Menu. Select the “Change Wi-Fi Password” and enter in your new password.
My dash camera is hot and stop working, is it malfunctioning?
No, the dash camera has entered a high temperature protection mode design to prevent the dash camera electronic components from heat damage.
Typically, this will happen if your camera is exposed to prolong exposure to sunlight on a hot day. Please let the dash camera cool down and it will resume normal operation.
How do I experience my journey trail through TYPE S Drive App?
- Connect to your dash cam using the TYPE S Drive App on you phone.
- Select the video through SD card and tap on the gallery mode.
- Press the “Play” button to view the last recording or press “Map” to show GPS location while the footage is playing back.
